Do you want to know what is happening around the world? Are you curious and adventurous, and do you have a great sense of which developments are of importance for Christians in Europe? Then apply for our vacancy at CNE.news.

We are looking for a journalist with an international outlook.

Your job
As a CNE journalist, you dive into developments that are relevant for Christian leaders in Europe. You write news and background articles, features and reports in readable English. You get a great chance to specialise yourself. You work partly from behind your desk and partly in the field. By travelling throughout Europe regularly, you are able to build a network and become an authoritative writer in your specialisation.

Who you are

  • You are a Christian
  • You have attained at least a Bachelor degree
  • Your English skills are (preferably) on the C1 level
  • You are able to edit English articles from guest authors
  • You are able and willing to fulfil coordinating tasks
  • You have strong communication skills

Our offer
We offer you a job that is never boring. You get the chance to work for an ambitious, new media platform. Since CNE's start in 2021, we have worked with a small team to build up our brand. Listening to and acting upon the wishes of customers is our central starting point. You will be hired by the Erdee Media Group (EMG) and rented out to CNE.news. EMG and CNE.news offer you attractive terms of employment, for example:

  • Cooperation within a small but enthusiastic team that is housed in the EMG organisation
  • Payment according to the Dutch collective employment agreement (CAO) of publishers
  • Flexibility to work from home according to set norms

About CNE.news

CNE's mission is to connect, support and encourage Christians in Europe. We do so by providing journalistic reflections of relevant trends. That is crucial in a Europe in which Christians are a minority more and more. CNE.news has a loyal group of readers. They assessed CNE with a great mark in 2023: 8/10.
