Christian Life
Hello, this is Kathryn Idema here. We posted this update back in January to our subscribers, and we feel the message is still relevant to all who have been reading our content. Here's a sneak peek at CNE's future and how you can become a part of it.
First, let me provide some background. CNE was previously under the supervision of the Dutch daily Reformed newspaper, Erdee Media Groep, based in the Netherlands, from 2021 until the end of 2025. During that period, CNE functioned as a journalistic platform that brought the latest news to the Christian community in Europe. For more information on that collaboration and our future, please see our latest news release.
Now, CNE is under new ownership, where our name will remain unchanged but will come with a renewed vision for advocacy and confronting the threats affecting Christians across the European continent. We have also developed a new team, including myself, who are currently working toward officially launching the new CNE this spring.
As a journalist at the previous CNE, I wrote articles that informed you about issues affecting Christians. These stories aimed to provide a balance of different perspectives on a given topic. However, our new team has realised that our audience is looking for something beyond the scope of just bringing the news.
Rather, we feel a united platform that confronts our policies, laws, and regulations is what is needed most. We believe it is important to identify the current legislation or policy that is drowning out our Christian identity and to inform you on the next steps.
We want to bring back the Christian voice in Europe through partnering with like-minded advocacy organisations that are already working to revive the Christian identity in Europe. We also see ourselves collaborating with these organisations and potentially sharing their content.
This is where you come in. Would you like to stay informed about our journey and be notified of our latest developments within the European Christian community? If so, then please stay subscribed to our newsletter.
If you know anyone who would like to write for us or become involved in this ever-growing vision, please let Kathryn Idema know at kidema@cne.news.
