After Finnish parliamentarian Päivi Räsänen received a verdict, she had a decision to make. Now, she has decided to take her case to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

Päivi Räsänen says that the case has left her "deeply concerned" but encourages the use of fundamental freedoms.

The Supreme Court of Finland (KKO) wants to issue a fine relating to a booklet that she published in 2004.
