What little goodwill Israel still had is evaporating in the blink of an eye. How can Christians still love Israel?

From present-day conflicts, such as in Gaza or Ukraine, to weather forecasts, news is all around us. How should we, as Christians, deal with this flood of information?

“Alarm Antisemitism”, the national Italian daily La Stampa headline read recently. The alarm was prompted by an attack on a Jewish man and his six-year-old son by a group of visitors to a roadside restaurant near Milan.

“With deep concern, we wish to draw your attention to numerous eyewitness reports on the worrying humanitarian situation in Gaza”, the EU Delegation for Relations with Israel writes in a letter to the Israeli Parliament.

As Europe dials up its armies and defence arsenals, many Christians wonder: should we take up arms and join the fight? Or should we work for another form of peace?
