The Spanish branch of the Dutch bank ING explicitly advertises queer people. It runs a campaign on Spanish television, showing a little boy in a pink dress, a polyamorous couple and a drag queen, for example.

To promote its payroll accounts, the bank uses its diversity policy to attract attention. It does so under a campaign called "Quedate conquien te quiera libre", which can be translated as "stick with those who want you to be free." That is reported by European Conservative. The advertisements can be seen on Spanish television, streaming services and social media platforms.

Love and respect

The company explains on the website of its advertisement agency Sra. Rushmore that it believes there is "nothing more beautiful than loving you just the way you are: free." Furthermore, it motivates its campaign by saying that the protagonists in the advertisements "love and respect each other, each expressing their freedom, individuality and way of being". That symbolises the fact that ING wants its clients to be free, the website reads.

On its own website, the ING bank prides itself in the fact that it promotes diversity "because it's essential for delivering on our strategy."
