Spanish Bible Society is looking for voices to record the New Testament
Southern Europe
In May, the Spanish Bible Society will start working on a dramatised audio recording of the New Testament in Spanish. To that end, a voice selection casting is opened for the different characters.
For this project, the Bible Society cooperates with the international ministry "Faith Comes by Hearing", Actualidad Evangelica writes. The Bible translation used is "La Palabra" (The Word).
"As the Bible Society of Spain and faithful to our mission, we want the Word of God to be available in all the means at our disposal so that it can transform lives," the Spanish organisation says.
The Faith Comes by Hearing recordings have a broad reach, Protestante Digital writes. They are now available in more than 1,600 languages and are accessible through the app and the website bible.is, where you can also find other resources and more information about this ministry.
As the quality of the recording will be professional, selecting voices for the different characters has begun. Those who wish to participate can send an audio recording in mp3 with the reading of John 1. 1-18 in the version of La Palabra to the Spanish Bible Society. The deadline for submission will end on 3 May.
