Russians kill Ukrainian deacon and his son

Last week, the bodies of Anatoly Prokopchuk, a deacon from the local Evangelical church, and his son, Oleksandr, were found in a forest in the Kherson region. They had been tortured and killed by the Russian occupiers.
The two men, aged 52 and 19, disappeared a week earlier. News broke that they were missing on November 22, C4U reports. According to relatives and friends, the victims worked in a garage when Russian soldiers took them to an unknown place. They said so to the Centre for Journalistic Investigations. It is unknown why they were taken in custody. Immediately after their disappearance, friends and family posted search notices on social media.
However, on November 27, it became clear that the bodies of the two men had been found. They were shot dead. Anatoly Prokopchuk served the congregation of Evangelical Christians and had seven children.
